Byron Darrow


Byron Darrow is a research engineer at the Plasmadynamics and Electric Propulsion Laboratory (PEPL) at the University of Michigan. He earned his B.S.E. in Aerospace Engineering in 2023 and his MEng in Space Engineering in 2024, both from the University of Michigan. Byron began research at PEPL in 2024, investigating novel high-vacuum pumping schemes for EP testing. His current work centers around upgrading PEPL’s facilities to support alternative propellants and high-power Hall-effect thruster testing.
